Meet Mira!

Hello, I’m Mira. I came to NAWT as a stray with my new born kittens. You see, I was rather clever and as a pregnant stray I found my way into someone’s cattery so that I could give birth safely, and then when they discovered us, they brought us to safety. My babies are now all old enough to start their own lives without me, so I guess that means it’s time for me to make a new start too.

I’m a very nervous girl, humans aren’t really my favourite things right now. I understand that they are the bringers of food, and I know they are keeping me safe and warm, but other than that, I’m not their biggest fan. After so long fending for myself outside, it’s going to take me a while to build trust and let my guard down, but I’ll get there. I’m just hoping I can find someone patient enough to work with me and go at my own pace.

I’m looking for a quiet home with not other pets and no children. I’ll need a dedicated safe space to make my own, and from there I can start to build a bond with my owner.
