Meet Amber!

Hello, my name is Amber. I’m 5 years old and I’m looking for a human who will give me a second chance at finding happiness.

Life has been one big worry for me so far. No-one is sure of what I’ve been through in the past, but it hasn’t been easy and because of that, I’ve lost all my trust in people. I’m terrified that people might not be kind to me, so I’ve learnt to hide myself away and not take the chance on getting to know anyone, that way I can’t be let down.

I’m in the cattery with my daughter, Rosie, so we are able to be homed together or separately. Rosie is a little more confident than me, and she’s only young it will be easier for her to build trust. It’s going to take longer to break through my barriers and I can’t promise you that I’ll ever be as confident as a “normal” cat, but I hope someone out there will still give me a chance. A rural environment would suit me best, so that I can have lots of space, safety and grow to appreciate human affection in small doses over time.
