Meet Penelope!

Hello there, I’m Penny. I arrived at the rescue with my sister following the sad loss of our owner. Thanks to lots of love and care, I’m now ready to start the next chapter of my life.
I’m a 4 year old Shih Tzu, and I’ve been told I’m a very sweet girl. I absolutely love fuss and attention, cuddles, gentle strokes, and being close to my people are my favourite things. If you’re looking for a little shadow who enjoys company and affection, I might be just right for you.

I could potentially live with another friendly dog, as I do enjoy canine company. We’re not quite sure how I’d feel about cats, so I might need careful introductions there. I may also be happy in a home with calm, teenage children who understand how to be gentle and respectful.

I’ve already known what it feels like to love and to be loved, and I’m ready to find that again.
