Meet Monty!

Hi friends! My name is Monty and I'm a 4 year old little Pomeranian on the lookout for a home filled with love and TLC. I am a little guy with a big heart and I bond very strongly to people and love to be around them.

Right now I'm not looking my best as I do have quite a bit of hair loss. This seems likely due to a flea allergy and I am on medication to help with this so a new owner needs to be rather understanding that these are my needs right now and hopefully in time my hair will grow back beautifully and I'll look like a really handsome chap! I am also really rather overweight so it's really important that my new home work hard on helping me lose some pounds so I can be healthier and act like a 4 year old little boy.

I am a sensitive soul so I am finding it a little difficult here in kennels when I'm on my own as I really do love being around people. I might settle when I'm back in a routine and be able to be left for short periods but I'll be looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. I've not been out on many walkies of late so I'm a little unsure about being on the lead so nice gentle walkies when I'm ready but for now I'll be needing a secure garden of my own too. I could live with other animals pending discussion but I'll be best suited to homes where any children are older. If you think I could be the little guy for you, then I can't wait to hear from you!
