Meet Ava!

Hey everyone, I'm Ava. I am hoping that there is a home out there for a beautiful looking, sweet girl like me.

I am not a fan of the cold weather so I am here wishing that I could be cuddled up all nice and warm in a bed, or even on yours! I have also been known to lick my previous owners feet under the duvet...the things I do for love hey!

I am a bit timid and wary to start with (especially with men) but I come round really quickly with patience and rewards (I love my treats!!) and then you will see my adorable soft, cuddly and friendly nature. All the staff here at the centre are absolutely amazed of how well I have done over the last few weeks under their care, so we are all hoping my new owners will continue with all the great training I am doing.

Once we have that bond I am great to handle, groom and I even enjoyed my recent check up at the vets and gave her lots of kisses. I will need an owner who enjoys walking as much as I do. I am up for all sorts of adventures as long as you just allow me the time to build up my confidence. I have been great at socialising with my doggy friends here at the centre and love to go out on walks together so I could possibly live with another dog.

In my previous home, I used to be vocal when someone came to the door, and I was never really left alone for too long, so these will need to be considered in my new home. But I am really hoping that someone (or perhaps "somelady") is going to give me a chance to shine and show how much of a wonderful friend and companion I can be x love Ava x
