Meet Willow!

Hi, I'm Willow,

I've been on quite a journey but things are brighter now, because I’m safe and ready to find my person.

I’m a young German Shepherd girl, about 8 months old, and I’ve been told I’m a gorgeous one (I won’t argue). I’m a big softy at heart, I love people, adore fuss, and think playtime is one of the best inventions ever. If you’re willing to throw a toy, give cuddles, or just tell me I’m a good girl, I’ll be your biggest fan.
I’m still very much a puppy, which means I’m boisterous, bouncy, and full of enthusiasm. I sometimes forget how big I am because everything is just so exciting! Because of that, I’d do best in a home with older teenage children who are steady on their feet and can help keep me calm.

I didn’t get much chance to learn how to be a dog around other dogs before I came here, but I’m trying really hard. My carers are helping me with dog social skills, and I’m already showing great promise. With patience, kindness, and consistency, I know I can keep improving. An owner who understands my breed and enjoys training would be perfect for me, I’m clever and eager, and I love learning.

I’d prefer a home without cats, please, they’re a bit too tempting to chase. I might be able to live with another dog if they’re very calm, similar in size, and happy to help show me the ropes.

What I really want is someone who sees past my bouncy puppy energy and understands that I’m still learning about the world. In return, I promise loyalty, laughter, muddy paws, and a whole lot of love.
