Meet Lenny !

Hi friends!! My name is Lenny and I’ll be ever so pleased to meet you! You might be wondering what makes up such a handsome, unique fella like me?! Well, I’m a Shar Pei but with a longer ‘bear’ coat...so I do rather resemble a big teddy bear!!

I’ve been waiting a little while now and let me tell you, it’s been no easy ride...more about that in a minute! But everything is on the up now and I simply cannot wait to get these paws into a forever home to call my own. I am a really friendly guy and I simply love to make new friends. I am silly, goofy and fun and love nothing more than making people laugh. I can promise that if you’ve got a great sense of humour then we’ll be sure to share so many laughs!

I love to have a cuddle and like to reverse my fluffy butt into you for fusses. In fact, my favourite thing is simply just to be with you! I’ll happily settle down on the sofa for a snuggle whilst we watch TV but I’m also up for having lots of fun-I am just a youngster after all! I do have a playful spirit, especially with my teddies. And I enjoy a car ride so now doubt we could plan lots of adventures together!

So, about my time here. When I arrived it was clear I had some sore eyes; unfortunately I needed some surgery to correct something called entropion, where my eyelids were rolling inwards making for some very sore eyes and a very sad Lenny. My recovery wasn’t without its hiccups and I’ve had to be ever so patient and try to keep calm to let my eyes heal. Which for a young pup is super boring! But the good news is, I’m all healed now and the surgery was a success! I’m looking and feeling so much better and now all I need is to find my forever family.

I’ll be looking for a home that’s full of love and fun. I have made doggy friends before but, with the difficult time I’ve had, I now need some help with my continued training and socialisation as now seeing other dogs I can find frustrating. My pals here can tell you all about this and how best to help me-hopefully I can get back on the right track to making new friends now I can fully focus on my future. If you have another dog already at home, my friends here could have a discussion about suitability- with my youth and enthusiasm I’d be looked for a well matched friend if I was to share my home. Otherwise I’ll be looking to be your only boy- unfortunately I’m not looking to share my home with cats or any children.

Life’s not been easy for me lately and I’m very deserving of my lucky break. If you think I could bring you lots of smiles, then I really can’t wait to meet you!
