Meet Roo!

Hey everyone my name is Roo.
I am needing to find myself a new home as although I have been very much loved and cared for over the last 10 years, my owner unfortunately can no longer keep me due to a change in personal circumstances.
My current owner has described me as a well behaved, calm and happy natured dog so lets hope it wont be too hard for me to find a new owner who can love me as much as she has.

I love to play (I'm especially good at fetch), paddling on the beach, going for walks, snoozing in the sun, and as you can see from my photos I have enjoyed a bit of agility for fun over the years. I am great with all people although I may be a little shy to start with, especially at places like the vets or kennels. I am comfortable around children as long as they don't try and pick me up as I am a bit sensitive around my back end. I am very well behaved in the house and am fine to leave alone for a few hours. I will make a great companion.

Being a terrier I do have a very high prey drive and am always on the look out for cats so will need to be kept on my lead when out and about. I can be a bit reactive with other dogs and may snap if they get too close, so I will need to be the only dog in the home. I'm also not a fan of the wind and rain, or any loud bangs or noisy places, and I really don't like anything with wheels so again I will need to be kept on my lead when out on my walks.

I love travelling in the car so will be happy to go anywhere with you. I am used to sleeping in my own bed which I love very much, I don't go on the furniture. I am as regular as clock work so will be telling you when it's dinner time.

I really hope there is a new home out there for me who will give me the reassurance and time to adjust to such a big change, but I am a fab little dog that will give lots of love and be a pleasure to own x
