Meet Chestnut (with Acorn)!

Chestnut is a gentle, sweet-natured kitten who’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. She and her brave little sister, Acorn, were found living together in a cardboard box before being brought into our care. While Chestnut is the quieter of the two, she’s full of love once she feels secure — and with Acorn by her side, her confidence blossoms every day.

These two share a very close bond and rely on each other for comfort and courage, so we’re looking for a home where Chestnut and Acorn can stay together. They would do well in a calm, patient household with sensible school-aged children who can give them gentle affection and space to settle in at their own pace. They’re young enough to adapt to living with friendly dogs and would likely get along well with other cats, too.
