Meet Hettie!

Hi friends!! I’m Hettie and I’m on the lookout for my forever family. As you can tell, I’m a very beautiful German Shepherd. As just a youngster, I’m full of fun, energy and enthusiasm! I’m after some active, fun forever humans who are up for adventures and excitement.

I am a very smart lady which is great news for you and my training! Because I have bundles of intelligence, I love to learn things so I’ve already got some tricks up my sleeves but would benefit from learning more. I’ll need a home that is committed to not just giving me physical exercise, but keeping my busy brain active and stimulated.

I am a very affectionate girl and I like to lay across you for a cuddle. Some times I can get a little excited and silly but I am just an overgrown pup! I’ll benefit from some experienced owners....maybe if you’ve had the breed like me before that would be ace!

I can get a bit over stimulated when I see other dogs- I’ve had some bad experiences before coming here but I have shown that I do like greeting and playing with other well matched doggy friends!! I’ll need some continued socialisation around dogs so I’m having lots of positive experiences to build up on. I could maybe live with another dog depending on how we get along here at the Centre. I’m not looking to share an home with feline friends and I won’t be looking to share my home with any children. I might love my people lots so I might struggle with being left alone initially but my friends can tell you all about that! If you think I could be the girl for you, then I can’t wait to hear from you!
