Meet Parrot!

Hi, I'm Parrot, I'm a friendly little guy, looking for a new home with another Degu to be my friend.

I'm not a species of animal that NAWT typically rehomes, but they received an urgent call after my brother and I were found abandoned in a carrier bag outside a shop and no other organisations were able to help us. Sadly, my brother has passed away and now I'm hoping to find a loving new home with another Degu to keep me company, as I'm lonely without him. I'm a sweet, confident boy, I'm happy to be picked up and handled, and I quite enjoys climbing up to sit on your shoulder so that you can take me on a tour of the house.

I love to explore with lots of branches, platforms, tunnels and dig boxes to keep me busy and would love to continue having a variety of enrichment in my new home. I will need an enclosure that is a minimum of 120cm x 90cm x 60cm so that me and my new friend have room for lots of activities.
