Meet Ruby!

Hello everyone I'm Ruby, and I'm on the look out for a new home.
I am a very sweet girl, extremely affectionate and very friendly but I can get a bit anxious and stressed which makes me quite vocal, and sometimes causes me to come out in hot spots. So I am looking for a nice new home where I will get all the attention and fuss I deserve with kind and understanding new owners.
I currently am living with another dog, but this just isn't working. I can get a bit jealous and upset, which makes me stressed and then I retreat by myself which is upsetting for my current owners. So a home with no other pets is what I will need (cats are too tempting to chase unfortunately).
I am not a fan of children either I'm afraid, but I will make a great friend for someone as I am real lap dog.
I will need somebody who is active and up for some fun though as I love my walks (as long as it's not raining) and am great fun when running and playing off lead - I have brilliant recall I will have you know!
With the breed that I am I will need regular grooming and am very used to going to the groomers so that wont be a problem, I will also need to remain on a low fat diet.

Ruby is on our Home Direct Scheme, so will remain with her current owners until a suitable match is found. All meets will be done here at the centre.
