Meet Gambit!

Gambit is a beautiful 4-year-old ex-racing greyhound with a soft heart and a calm, sensitive nature. While he may come across as a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for his sweet personality to shine through once he feels safe and secure!

Gambit is a quieter boy who takes the world at his own pace. He’s looking for a patient, understanding home where he can build his confidence and continue to discover all the joys of life. He enjoys gentle affection and will thrive with someone who’s happy to go slow and let him settle in on his terms.

He walks well on the lead and is comfortable around larger dogs, so he may be able to live with another calm, similar-sized companion following introductions at the centre.

As with many ex-racers, Gambit has a strong prey drive and will need a home without cats or small animals.

We haven’t seen him with children, so he may be best suited to older, dog-savvy children who can give him the space and calm environment he needs.

Gambit doesn’t ask for much – just a peaceful home, a warm bed, and someone who’ll offer him the love and patience he deserves!
