Meet Finley!

Hi potential future forever friend...it’s me...Finley! I know what you’re thinking...what a handsome pooch! You wouldn’t be wrong of course, although what exactly makes up a big handsome guy like me is a bit of a mystery. I’m a little bit like a retriever and come with big retriever energy...but I am quite the bit bigger! I’m currently around 40kg and stand quite tall...so a home looking for a big fluffy guy would find me ace!

As much as my looks are a mystery, so is my past. So life with me will be a blank canvas and it will be great fun getting to know each other and sharing experiences together! I’ve been a friendly boy and I do like to have cuddles with my favourite people. In fact, I’ll reverse myself and sit on your feet whilst you fuss me. And if you’re not careful, I’ll flop backwards into you! Failing that, a good upside down roll and a belly rub suits me just fine!

When I first arrived I think I was a little sad and haven’t really shown everyone yet my true personality so we’re all still getting to know each other. But I’m starting to show off more of my fun spirit now and I’m starting to show an interest in playtime and toys so I’m sure there’s a big playful puppy in there! I’ve also started to enjoy going out on some walks in the countryside which is great fun although I can be a bit strong on the lead so need some help with my skills. I do like to get the zoomies sometimes and am learning to keep all my paws firmly on the floor as otherwise I can be a bit of a bouncy boy! Thankfully, I really enjoy a brush and will sit for a long time for a pamper so that will help keep my coat in tip top condition as I wasn’t looking my best before.

It’s not truly known how I feel about other pooches yet and I’ll be looking for a home where I’m the only pet in your life. I’m not looking to share my home with children and will need a nice secure garden of my own. If you think I could be the fluffy fella for you then I can’t wait to hear from you!
