Meet Otto!

Hey everyone, My name is Otto and I am on the lookout for my forever home!!
I am a very handsome boy and I a big softy and a goofball! I am quite a large boy but it just means there is even more of me to love!
I have the saddest eyes that just draw you in and then I will love you forever. I walk really well on the lead most of the time, so even though I am big, I am good to handle, I will just excited when I see other dogs as I really want to go and say hello, so that is when you will feel my strength so my new owners need to be happy to help me continue my lose lead walking training! I love my walks and really love to sniff and explore and if there is water that is even better as I love water and am not afraid of jumping in paws first! Recall is another matter, and at the moment I only come back when I feel like it, so that definitely needs working on... I am getting better at coming back but there are just to many exciting sniffs for me to investigate. I can be a bit jumpy at people and when being left it might take me a little longer to settle initially, so I would prefer it if my new owners were around most of the time to help me settle in first and to show me that "my people" will be coming back! With me being the size that I am going to need a good height of garden fencing to keep me safe and secure as I am a bit of an escape artist.
I am not too bothered with toys and seem to loose interest easily, unless its a squeaky and that seems to catch my attention. But I really love a fuss, and thrive off lots of praise and attention and I have been building such lovely bonds with my handlers here because they take me on lots of fun adventures and give me plenty of cuddles!
I have been great with all my doggy pals here at the kennels so I could possibly live with other dogs, but cats I'm not so sure about. If there are children in the home, I think I will need older ones due to my liking of jumping up but we will have to see how the meets go here first.
