Meet Dennis!

Hi, I'm perfect Dennis - I was rescued from a really tough situation and brought to the kind people at NAWT. They’ve taken great care of me, but I’ll be honest – the kennel life is hard for a sensitive boy like me. What I really need is a quiet, loving home where I can feel safe, build a bond, and finally exhale.

I’m shy at first – not because I don’t want to love you, but because I’ve learned to be a little careful. But give me some time, a little patience, and gentle kindness... and you’ll see my true self. Once I bond with someone, I love hard. I’ll be your loyal, cuddly shadow, always close by, just wanting to be near my person.

Everyone says I’m the softest, kindest boy. I just want to be around people who make me feel safe. I adore fuss and snuggles – once I know you, I’ll nuzzle into you like I never want to let go.

I could possibly live with a calm doggy friend – after a few slow introductions, of course. I haven’t met a cat yet, but because I’m such a gentle boy, I might be okay with one. I’d also do well with kind, patient teenagers who are steady on their feet and understand I need a little extra love.

What I want more than anything is a quiet, caring home with someone who sees past my hesitations and into the big, beautiful heart I’m ready to give. I’ve been through a lot... but I still believe my perfect person is out there.
