Meet Liquorice!

Hi, I’m Liquorice – a sweet-natured girl with a soft heart and quiet charm. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but give me some time and gentle patience, and I’ll begin to seek out affection and enjoy our time together. I like interaction on my own terms I’m not overly demanding, but I do enjoy gentle strokes, company, and sharing moments with my humans.

I came into care after being found as a stray. At the time, I had six beautiful kittens and I was a wonderful mum, but now that my babies have grown and moved on to find homes of their own, it’s finally my turn to be looked after and loved.

I have a playful side that comes out now and then especially when the toys come out! I enjoy a bit of fun, but I’m mostly a calm and content companion. I also love my food, and tasty treats are a great way to help me feel more confident, especially when I’m still settling in.
