Meet Poppa!

Hi friends! It’s Poppa here! I’ve been waiting a little while now for my lucky chance and I don’t know why I’m being a bit unlucky in love...after all, I really am a rather gorgeous young lady!! I have the most striking eyes and have a beautiful personality to match my looks.

Maybe my photos don’t show how special I am as there are lots of us beautiful black cats out there. So let me tell you a little bit about me and why we could be the purrfect match!

I am just a youngster; I’m only just over a year old so I’m looking forward to spending many long, happy years with my forever family. Being young in age, I’ll be full of fun, enthusiasm and loveliness! I’m also rather mature and out of any crazy kitten chaos stage and enjoy taking myself off for cat naps regularly.

I am an affectionate girlie; I like fusses and attention and like to nudge your hand for more. One of my favourite things to do is be up high on my scratching tower...I like to get the highest platform and curl up either for a cosy nap or to watch the world go by!

There’s also a playful spirit in me...my favourite game is playing with the fishing rod toy as I like catching the end with my paws! I can even be partial to chasing after a ball. Even more of my playfulness will probably unravel once I’m settled at home and you’ll find out even more about me and the things I love to do; I’m getting a little sad waiting now and I’d love to find my forever person and start on that ever so rewarding journey of getting to know each other!

I came to the centre because I was living with other pets and I found that scary and overwhelming so I was finding things all just a bit too stressful. Now I’m much more relaxed and, whilst I’m not looking to share my home with any other pets, you needn’t worry.... I’ve got lots of love to give so I’ll be the only pet you’ll need in your life!

I’m patiently waiting and I’m hoping soon I hear the news of a forever home and human to call my own. I’m looking for a home where any children are older teenagers and one without other pets. If you think I could be the girl for you, then I can't wait to hear from you!
