Hello, my name is Hobbes. I'm a gorgeous 5 year old chap.
I’ve been at the NAWT for quite a long time now, watching other cats come and go while I wait for the right person to come along. You see, I’m not the bold, cuddly type. I’m a quiet soul who finds people and new places a little daunting, so I take my time to feel safe.
What I do love, though, is the outdoors. The thought of a peaceful rural home—maybe a smallholding, stable, or somewhere with fields and fresh air—sounds just right for me. I’d be happiest if I could spend my days roaming, watching the world go by, and keeping a gentle eye on my surroundings.
Because I’m so reserved, I need a calm place without children or other pets, and a kind person who understands that I may never be a lap cat. What I can offer in return is my quiet presence, a touch of feline charm, and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve given a shy boy like me a second chance.
