Our Clacton site was originally set up by Ann and Reg Sims in 1984 as Clacton Animal Aid. It was entrusted to the National Animal Welfare Trust in October 2011 following the Sims retirement after 25 dedicated years of service.
We always welcome any type of dog/cat bedding as well as toys and treats for the animals in our care and also have a shop on site selling pet related items and giftware.
Lizzie manages the day-to-day running of the NAWT Clacton centre, and has the final say on all decisions made.
Julian heads up the Animal Care Team at NAWT Clacton, ensuring that every animal is designated a member of staff each day to be responsible for their care, training and exercise.
Rebecca runs the busy reception area at the NAWT Clacton centre and is responsible for organising fundraising initiatives to raise money for the animals in their care.
