As soon as news of the Royal baby's safe arrival was announced, the speculation started on the chosen names for the infant. One can't imagine how much time was spent deliberating on suitable names that both parents liked and fitted with Royal convention. Protocol aside many pet owners find the naming process equally as complex.
I was asked the other day if we had ever taken in a cat fitted with cat claw caps. We hadn't, but intrigued, a quick search led me to images of claws in soft plastic covers - available in a range of pretty colours (including glitter) which are apparently 'easily' attached with adhesive. The manufacturers have clearly not met my cats.
Have you ever thought what you might do with your animals if your home was flooded and your emergency accommodation didn't allow pets? Or if you were stuck without someone to care for your pet if you were suddenly rushed into hospital? No? Me neither until a few months ago - and I work for an animal rescue charity.
