Emergency Contact Details
Which volunteer role/s are you interested in?
(please tick all that apply)
You may need to talk to the volunteer coordinator at the centre or shop to discuss what volunteering opportunities are available.
Equal Opportunities
NAWT welcomes volunteer applicants who bring a varied range of skills and abilities to the Trust. We aim to create a positive environment that enables all volunteers to realise their full potential.
Declaring Criminal Convictions
Information about criminal convictions is requested to assist the selection process and will be taken into account only when the conviction is considered relevant to the role. Having a conviction will not necessarily stop you from volunteering, but will need to be taken into consideration when assessing your suitability.
Referees:
Due to the nature of some of our Volunteer Roles, for example working with animals/handling cash, we request that you supply details of two people we can contact for a reference. If possible, one of these should be a professional referee such as a current or previous employer.
Referee 1
Referee 2
Experience
What attracts you to volunteering at NAWT? What would you like to gain from the experience?
List the skills, knowledge and experience that you feel you will bring to a voluntary role at NAWT (i.e. hobbies, interests, paid/voluntary work experience or any skills, qualifications or training courses that may be relevant to a role with us).
Please note, we are unable to accept volunteers under 16 years of age.
Before commencing any volunteering work with the Trust you will be required to sign the Volunteer Policy. It is not intended that a Volunteer should have the status of employee or worker in relation to the volunteering activities undertaken or that they should derive a personal benefit from undertaking such activities.
Data Protection
We value your support and your privacy is important to us, so we’ll always keep your details secure and we will never share your data with other organisations for their marketing purposes. Information about how we use your personal data is set out in our privacy policy, published at www.nawt.org.uk/privacy.
We’d love to stay in touch to update you on the work of the charity.
