Having only ever bonded with one owner, Sweep’s life took a turn for the worse when his handler died. Left to fend for himself the Beagle cross’s already poor socialisation skills worsened.
By the time he was rescued by the Trust poor Sweep was in need of both medical and behavioural attention.
To everyone’s delight Janet, an experienced dog handler, offered Sweep a home and the opportunity to further develop his social skills with her two other rescue dogs.
He is now learning how to interact with the other dogs and is enjoying walks with them.
