Bruce was found as a stray in Falmouth in January in a sorry state, suffering from hair loss, a chronic skin condition and serious injuries to his tail. His tail was so severely infected that part of it needed amputation and he was treated with medicated baths for his skin condition.

As his recovery progressed, Bruce was made available for homing and was soon spotted by the Whitehead family, who kindly paid the Hayle centre a visit last week. Bruce looked almost unrecognisable from the dog that arrived with us earlier this year and it’s fantastic to see him doing so well and getting spoilt rotten- just as he deserves!
