Bertie and Crunchie

Hi, my name is Bertie, and this is my friend Crunchie. We are a pair of 2-year-old males looking for our forever home together.

We have not had much handling before coming to the centre so do tend to run away when approached. Once we feel safe in someone's arms or lap, we do calm down, but crunchie is still very hand shy and need to learn that hands and people are not scary. After we have gotten to know you, we will squeak for veg and nuggets. Our favourites are cucumber and carrots.

We would prefer being around people inside, so we can get used to them and have regular handling. We do also like to be outdoors when it is sunny. We can live with adults or a family with children as longs as the adults do all the handling as we can be quite nervous. We can live in a house with other animals if we are kept separately.
