About me

Hi everyone, my name is Lavender, and I am an 8-month-old terrier cross that is looking for a lovely new home.

I am a playful, affectionate young lady that really enjoys spending time with people. I am very active and love playing with toys and running around, as well as doing lots of sniffing to find out what has been going on in the neighbourhood!

I cannot live with cats or other small animals as I am very interested in them, and not in the best way! At the moment I am unable to live with another dog as I haven’t had much socialisation with dogs and I am very intense with them. If my new family can help me learn how to interact with other dogs in the correct way, then in the future I could live with another dog.

If there are children in my new home then we will need to meet here at the centre first, to make sure that I am comfortable around them and that they are happy being around a young, bouncy pup like me!

I am not used to being left alone, so my time alone will need to be built up gradually. I will also need lots of further training using kind methods, such as loose lead walking – at the minute I do pull quite a bit!

I really hope that there is a perfect family for me out there, with the time and love to help me grow into a wonderful girl.
