Hi there! My name is Roxy, I am a lovely and playful 2 year old Jack Russell. I was found as a stray, therefore very little is known about my history. But I have been fortunate enough to be fostered, so I have been assessed in a home environment, therefore the staff at the centre are able to tell you a little bit more about me than your typical stray!
I have been described as a submissive and timid little girl when I first meet you but once you have gained my trust, I have so much love to give. You will fall in love with me and equally, I will fall in love with you! I absolutely love to go out on walks and explore and thoroughly enjoy playing. I am a clever girl because I don’t even particularly need company to have a good time, I am quite happy to grab myself a toy and I will occupy myself for hours with it! This is often followed by a long snooze, of course, being a playful pooch is tiring work!
I currently live with another dog in my foster home and we get along great! As long as he doesn’t come near my toys!! I have been known to guard my toys, I just love them so much! But this is something my new owner would need to be aware of and help me work through. I have only ever seen cats out on my walks and I have given mixed reactions so it is probably for the best I steer clear of your feline friends! It is unknown if I have ever been around children but I am fairly confident I could live with older dog-savvy children if they give me the space I will require.
I am a beautiful young girl, full of character, looking for my forever home. Could my forever home be yours?
