About me

Hello there! My name is Missy, I am a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier and it has been estimated I am about 11 years old. Do not be fooled by my age, age is just a number!! I am about 3 years old in my head and greet people with a spring in my step!

I came into the centre as a stray, therefore very little is known about me. The staff here have fallen in love because I am such a happy gentle soul. I absolutely love having company, I’d really like my new owner to be home most of the time—even better if I can have their undivided attention! Although my age may suggest I should be slowing down, I’m not showing any signs of it yet!! I love to play but the staff haven’t quite figured out if that is simply because it means I am getting attention… Did I mention I  love attention?

My ideal ’retirement’ home would consist of a loving family, the staff here think I could easily live with children due to how gentle and playful I am. In fact, I’d probably thoroughly enjoy having playmates! When I have been out and about on my strolls I have displayed nothing but positive behaviour when seeing other dogs so I think I could potentially live with another pooch (as long as I didn’t have to fight for all the cuddles!). Cats are currently a mystery to me, the staff here would be happy to see what I am like around cats if the right potential adopter came along! But currently the weather is too hot for me to have a fair test of being around them. It isn’t worth burning my paws over!!

I am a sweet, loving and playful mature pooch looking for my forever home. Could my forever home be with you?
