About me

Hello, my name is Lolita and I’m a beautiful year-old Shepherd cross Akita looking for a new best friend and forever home.

I’ve tried family life in the past, but it isn’t for me. I’m best suited to living with a single owner so that I can be the centre of their universe and they can be the centre of mine. I form very strong bonds with the people I love which means I find it difficult to share their attention and children make me feel very anxious so I really need to find a single companion home where I will be the only animal. I do struggle with separation anxiety so please make sure you are going to be able to spend most of the day with me as I won’t like being left alone and will need to slowly build up to spending time away from you.

I’m a young girl so I do need help learning how to behave in the home, because of this and due to my size, it would be best for me to find an owner who has experience with large breed dogs, ideally someone who has owned Shepherds before. I love food and I’m very eager to learn so I will enjoy doing reward-based training and positive reinforcement with you. I do have a strong prey drive so I will need to wear a muzzle when we go out for walks. My home will need to have a nice big private garden, so I have the opportunity to run around without my muzzle while at home.

I’m a nice girl who loves to run around, play, and cuddle up with my favourite person. I can’t wait to meet my new owner so if you think you could be my perfect match, please apply now.
