Hi there! My name is Shaka, I’m a friendly 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and I’m here at the centre with my 7 year old friend Zena. We are the best of friends! I have been with Zena ever since she was born and can’t imagine my life without her in it! Zena is a little more timid than I am but that’s because she only has one eye—but don’t take pity on her! That doesn’t effect her quality of life in any way, she still loves to chase a frisbee and you don’t need two eyes to get cuddles!!
I love people as soon as I meet them, Zena can take a bit more time to warm up to you but she will follow my lead! We may be older doggos but we both still love our walkies and to be honest, we are a bit on the chunky side so would like owners who have the time to take us for strolls little and often to help reduce our waistlines! We don’t mind other dogs, we could potentially live with some more furry friends provided we met here at the centre and got along. We have been around children and we are very kind and gentle towards them, as long as the children offered us the same courtesy, living with children shouldn’t be a problem.
We are a loving pair with a lot of love to give looking for a paw-fect home for us both. Could that paw-fect home be yours?
