Hello there, my name is Ollie and I’m a rather handsome 3-year-old ex-racing greyhound.
Much like my other ex-racing greyhound friends, I’ve only really known kennel life. I would love to have the chance to experience being in a home and with a loving family.
I’m a beautiful boy and I’ve been told that I have lots of potential but I’m quite nervous of the big wide world and would really like to find someone who would help me gain more confidence in taking it on. Since being here at the centre, I’ve been very worried and have found things quite overwhelming. It’s such a big change and it would be brilliant if I could find someone who was understanding and could take things at my pace. At the moment, I’m not the sort of dog that will come straight up to you looking for affection or treats but I definitely have all the potential to be.
Ideally, I would love to have access to a big garden, so that I can explore it thoroughly with my nose and eventually have zoomies. I like going on walks and being around my canine friends here at the centre and could live with another dog, if they were of similar size and got on well with me here at the centre. I could also live with adults only or children of school age.
