Hello, my name is Purdy and I’m a beautiful year old Saluki cross.
I’m a very sweet little girl who really likes being around people once I get to know you a little. Cuddles and just attention in general will get you a long way with me. I haven’t been at the centre long, but I’ve already come a long way. To start with I was very timid and unsure but now I’m really starting to come out of my shell. The staff here at the centre have been so patient with me and really helped me realise that people aren’t that scary, especially if they have treats!!
The main thing that seems to worry me at the moment, is other dogs. I’m just very vocal and unsure but I’m sure if I take it slowly and make some friends, I’ll realise they aren’t that scary. Because of this it would probably be best if I were the only pet in the home, just so that I can take things at my own pace and build up to the things that worry me.
I’d love to have access to a large garden in my new home, I really enjoy running around and having my zoomies. I’m also really keen to explore everything with my nose.
I could live with adults only or children of school age.
