Meet Harley!
Harley is an 8 month old Rottweiler crossbreed. He is looking for a new home, as sadly his owner was unable to care for him.
He is good meeting new people and will bound over for a fuss. However Harley will jump up at people and has not had any training with basic commands, so would be looking for a home that could continue the training that we are doing at the centre. He is a young, clever boy with the potential to learn lots with the right owner! Harley will be looking for an active home, as he is very young and will needs lots of exercise and energy burning off. Harley is very strong on the lead and will need training with loose lead walking, as he currently pulls a lot and will need someone confident handling a large, strong dog.
Harley doesnt like to be left alone for very long, so would be looking for a home with people around a lot of the time to keep him company. He can be destructive when he is left and gets a bit upset, so would need that time building up to being left alone. Harley enjoys playing with his toys and being in the water, so would be a very fun addition to someone's family! Harley is nervous when travelling so would need someone who is happy to do some car training with him.
Harley could live with children, but due to his size and boistrous nature, we would be looking at older teens/adults. Harley could potentially live with another dog, but it would need to be a larger, younger dog to be able to cope with his bouncy nature. If you are interested, please contact us for more information.
