About me

Hello there everyone! My name is Ronnie, and I am an extremely handsome 2-year-old lurcher cross, that is looking for a new home and family to love!

I am a very clever and friendly boy, that loves to keep my brain working. I love going for long walks where I can stretch my legs and smell everything in sight! I am a big boy, so my new owner will need to be steady on their feet and able to handle me. I do walk well on my lead, so with further training I am sure that we will have lots of fun exploring together!

I could live with a dog of a similar size to me, that wouldn’t mind living with a big and bouncy boy like me! We would need to meet here at the centre first to check that we get on. I could also live with older children that will be able to do training with me to keep me on track. I can be a bit jumpy, so it is best that they are steady on their feet and not too small.

I cannot live with cats or other small animals, as I find the urge to chase them very hard to resist. Due to my high prey drive I do have to wear a muzzle when I am out on walks, to make sure no unsuspecting squirrels run in my path!

I am really looking forward to finding a new home, I have been here the longest out of all of the dog and I really think it is my turn to find love.

Ronnie
