About me

Please meet Prime,

Prime came into our care due to a change of circumstance. Prime is 13 months old.

Prime is a very timid boy who can take a little while to build up trust with people. He is very hand shy and becomes nervous when new people try to touch him, he will also flinch when he sees a lead, a stick or water. He has not ever shown aggression, just fearful behaviour. However once he gets to know someone, he will enjoy a fuss. Prime would like to find an owner with lots of experience with nervous dogs so they can help build his confidence and show him that people are not always scary.

Prime is a strong boy who is known to pull on the lead, he will need some training to be taught how to walk on the lead nicely. He hopes to find an owner with experience in teaching this and someone that is confident that they can manage his strength.

Prime gets on well with other dogs that he meets on walks, he often wants to play with them. However small animals such as cats and birds Prime will want to chase.

Prime would like an adult only home with an owner who is around to give him multiple walks a day and to provide him with some basic training.

If you would like to know more about Prime, please contact reception.
