Hi! I’m Sib, a very handsome 8 year old Husky. I am starting my search for a new home after a change in circumstances in my previous home but since arriving at the Clacton centre it became very clear straight away that kennel life isn’t for me, so I’m really hoping I find my new family very soon!
I am a big favourite here with my gentle nature, love of cuddles and human company. As you can see from my pictures, I really like relaxing fusses and making the most of my time with the staff.
I’m not a very playful boy, I will have a sniff of the toys and investigate them but I’m not very interested in playing with them. I don’t mind having a brush, which is very beneficial for keeping my fur smart, but I do get bored if you take too long so I will just wander off to show you I’m done. I can be an anxious stress boy when on my own so I’m hoping my new family will be home most of the time, especially as I’m settling in and can then help me work on being left to show me I don’t have to worry.
Here at the centre I have met the friendly but very playful Toby, who I got very noisy and excited to see, but if I was to live with another dog it would have to be the right dog. Calm, friendly, similar age and one that likes to takes things in their stride as I really struggled to keep up with Toby here at the centre. I would also be okay as an only dog as I don’t take any particular comfort in another dog when it comes to being left. I have previously lived with a cat but after being assessed here at the centre and seeing how much I wanted to chase the cat, it will be better for me to go into a new home with no feline friends. I did also live with children in my previous home and was very good around them so I could live with children in my new home.
If you are interested in giving me a fresh start then please call the centre where a member of staff can talk more about me and see if I would be a good match for you!
