About me

Hello there, my name is Campbell and I’m a gorgeous 2 year old springer spaniel cross. I came to the centre not long ago as a stray from a pound but I’ve already made quite the impression on the staff.

My happy waggy tail and bouncy greetings are definitely something to behold. For that reason, you’ll really be able to tell that I’m part springer, I just can’t seem to sit still! Everything is just so exciting! Once I have settled though, I do love a bit of fuss. Head and bum scratches are my favourite but I’m quite content with a cuddle on the sofa.

I really enjoy being outdoors and using my nose to sniff out all the exciting smells we may find on our walks. I do need further loose lead and connection training but I’m doing very well so far here at the centre. Positive reward based training is great! I just have to do as I’m asked and I get all the yummy treats.

I get a bit anxious when I’m left on my own so it would be great to have someone who is home most of the day who can take their time helping me realise they will be coming back. A private garden would also be fantastic! I do need lots of space for me to burn off my energy and explore with my nose. I can live with adults or families with children age 12 and over, I could live with another friendly dog who will enjoy my company but I would like a home without cats as they scare me.
