Hi everyone, my name is Paddy and I'm a 10 year old Cockerpoo. I'm looking for new owners who have experience with or an understanding of resource guarding and a willingness to get on board with the positive reward based training I've begun in order to help me with this. Resource guarding means that I am possessive over food, toys and any objects I pick up which becomes apparent when I am in a home environment. Due to this, I am unable to live with other pets or young children. I'm told I'm a cracking little boy, I don't act my age at all, I'm still very energetic, playful and full of fun! One of my favourite things to do is go swimming, so owners that live near a beach would make me very happy indeed! My friends tell me that I'm also very intelligent (beauty and brains!) and would benefit greatly from doing enrichment activities to keep my brain busy and my mischevious streak at bay. I can get stressed and barky in new environments so I will need time and patience to adjust, for this reason I am looking to be rehomed within Cornwall so the staff here can help me transition into a new home. I am unable to live with dogs or cats.
