About me

Hello my name is Rocco and I am a handsome 18-month old Rottweiler cross.

I was brought to the centre as my owners were not able to handle me anymore, due to my size, strength and lack of manners. This means I am looking for an experienced owner who has had large breeds before and who has plenty of time to continue my training.

I am still so excited when I see anyone and everything, which means I can get vocal and pull or jump about when I am on the lead.

The staff are working on my loose lead training and, when there are not many distractions and they have tasty treats as rewards, I do walk nicely on a lead.

I have loads of potential and need an owner who will be the centre of my world and me be the centre of theirs, in order to bring out the best in me.

I enjoy playing with my toys, playing fetch and playing tug with my tug toy. I love attention and having a cuddle. I will still sit on your lap, even though I am not a small dog!

I need a big garden to run round and relax in, and an owner who is at home most of the time and has plenty of time on their hands to continue my reward based training.

I am looking to be the only pet in the home and am looking for a home with adults or families with children age 16 and above, where I can be the centre of attention.
