About me

My name is Cali, I’m a sweet, cuddly, 1 year old female American Bulldog who came in to the centre through no fault of my own.

I’m a very friendly and excitable girl who loves meeting new people and doesn’t waste much time before rolling over for tummy rubs! Being only 1, I am still something of a puppy, and I do tend to have a bit of a chew on the furnishings when I am left alone, as such I’m looking for an owner who will be home most, if not all, of the day.

Unfortunately I do have a problem with my back leg. I’ve had surgery to correct it and the staff here have me going on plenty of gentle walks and doing lots of fun exercises to help rebuild my muscles. I’m also seeing a physiotherapist and have regular hydrotherapy sessions. It probably won’t be a quick road to recovery so I’m going to need a patient and caring owner to help me (literally) get back on all four feet.

Given my needs, the staff feel that I could possibly live with a calm dog. I could also potentially live with school aged children (8+) provided they are already dog savvy.

I’m an ever so slightly broken bundle of fun who needs a loving and supportive home to help put me back together again, could that home be yours?
