About me

Hi there, my name is Maggie, I’m a shy but friendly 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for a new home.

I’m definitely not the most confident girl in new situations, I was certainly quite nervous when I moved here to the centre, but give me a little time to get to know you, and you’ll see that there’s a typical friendly Staffy underneath these nerves.

It doesn’t take long before I’m bounding up into people’s laps and bringing them toys so that we can play a game! I absolutely adore playing fetch and tug-of-war, the staff have described me as indefatigable. I like a nice walk too, but do tend to get a bit excited and pull on the lead more than I should, the staff are working with me on this.

I don’t mind seeing other dogs out and about at a distance but can be wary of any that approach me off lead, the staff here feel I would be happiest as the only pet in a home that only has adults and older teenagers (16+). I would also benefit from a patient and experienced owner who would give me the confidence I need to come out of my shell a little.

I’m a sweet, cuddly girl looking for that forever home that’ll be the perfect fit for me. Could that forever home be yours?
