About me

Hello, my name is Moose and I am a gorgeous 1-year-old boy.

I’ve had a pretty difficult start to life and I could really do with an understanding owner that would take the time to get to know me and help me learn how to be a well behaved boy. It takes me a little while to feel safe with you but once we are friends, I am a big bundle of fun and energy.

I do need an experienced owner who is committed to helping me with my insecurities. When I first arrived at the centre I was quite worried about meeting new people but my confidence has grown and now I love giving everybody cuddles! But I do still get a bit worried about the outside world. There's just so many different things to take in I just find it all a bit ovewhelming sometimes and then I start to panic and act silly.

My carers have really helped to reassure me, and I am slowly starting to feel safer out on walks but it does mean I will need a home in a quiet area where there isn't lots of traffic or loud noises. I will also need a secure, private garden where I can enjoy time outdoors without the pressure of having to go on walks.

I love people and don’t like being on my own so I am looking for a home where somebody is in most of the day to keep me company. Due to my anxious nature I will need to live in an adult only home without any other pets.
