About me

Hello there! I’m Toby! At 10 months old I found myself in the care of the Clacton centre when a change in my owners health took and sad and sudden turn. I am now ready and raring to find myself a new forever home where I hope to find a doggy friend or two!!

The spaniel in me shows very clearly in my personality! I’m full of energy, very clever, very sneaky and I have powerful nose that sniffs out lots of yummy things but it does also get me up to mischief! Toys are my most favourite thing ever, that and playing with other doggies, oh, and food!! I especially love tennis balls! Here at the centre there are so many choices to pick from so I’m really hoping my new home can offer me a big selection too!

I am a clever boy that does have a few tricks under my belt already but my new owners would need to be ready to continue my training to help me become the polite and well mannered pup I know I can be!

Although I look and sound like a really confident boy, I do have some insecurities. Walks out in the big wide world, for example, can be scary for me and I do get spooked quite often when I don’t have another doggy friend to keep me company. I would really love to have a new brother or sister in my new home to give me confidence, company and to be my best friend. Having a feline friend in the home as well as a doggie companion could be a possibility for me if we are a good match. I have never lived with one before so to know this I would need to come and meet them to see if we could be friends before going any further in the adoption process.

Any children in my new home would be better from the age of 10 and are ideally already confident around dogs. As I am still only young, have so much energy and do jump up when I’m really excited, I would be too much for little children.

If you think I sound like a pup that could fit into your home then please get in touch with the centre! A member of staff can then tell you a bit more about me.

I can’t wait to meet you!
