About me

Hi everyone, my name's Dolly and I'm an 11 year old Jack Russell Terrier.

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people but I come around quickly and the team say once I've come out my shell I'm a very sweet little lady, I always greet people I know with my waggy stump! My friends have worked out that the way into my heart is with toys, I'm told I don't act like my 11 years as I'm still a bouncy, fun girl who loves to play fetch and go for nice walks!

I'd like a new home where someone will be with me most of the time as the team have noticed I have some separation anxiety and get upset and distressed being left alone. When I'm not playing I love to settle on a sofa next to my humans and have quiet time., I'm also quite partial to a spot of sunbathing in a sunny corner!

The team have begun helping me to socialise with other dogs when out on walks using positive reward based training but I prefer other dogs not to get into my personal space so for this reason I will need to be the only dog in the home. Like a typical Terrier my prey drive is very high so I am unable to live with cats or small furries.
