About me
Hello, my name is Walter and I am 10 years old, can you believe I was found as a stray? I looked very different then but I’ve been to groomers since and look so handsome now.
I am a sweet older gentleman who just loves to be around people. I can be a little bit anxious in new places and may take a little time to settle in but I just need an owner who is home most of the day to keep me company. I don’t like being on my own and will follow you like a shadow – be careful though I’m so small and can easily get under your feet!
I am looking for a quiet home with adults or families with children age 12 and over. I could possibly live with another older dog and I could even live with a cat that has lived with dogs before but no other small animals please.

All dogs taken in by the National Animal Welfare Trust are:
- Medically checked by a vet and treated if necessary
- Assessed by our experienced animal care team to understand the type of home they require for their own particular needs
- Vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered
- Given four free weeks of Petplan insurance
- Given an individual training plan according to their needs
