Please meet Simba,
Simba came into our care because he was not getting on with the other dog in the home. Simba is a 2 year old Staffordshire bull terrier.
Simba is a timid but sweet boy. He can be wary of new people but it does not seem to take him long to make friends. Once he knows you, he is an incredibly sweet, loving, affectionate boy. He loves all of the fuss and attention he gets from the staff and volunteers he knows best.
Simba does not seem to have had much positive experience with the world, he can be spooked very easily when out and about on walks. He would like an owner with experience with nervous dogs, someone who can teach him that the world is not so scary.
Simba has lots of energy, he loves to go out on walks and play with his toys. Squeaky toys are his favourite! He could play fetch in our secure dog runs all day if he could. He can become over excited and boisterous around toys and times and has been known to bark at you if you do not throw the ball quick enough during a game of fetch.
Simba is very intelligent and knows lots of fun tricks such as sit, paw, down, bed, stay and speak. He hopes he knew owner will teach him more fun tricks in his new home.
If you could provide Simba with the home he is looking for, please contact reception.
