About me

Hi, my name is Bruno, I’m a two year old male Rottweiler. In my previous home I was getting a little bit boisterous with the other dog and was simply too much for my owner to look after.

I don’t know how much my picture’s going to convey this, but I’m BIG, a whopping 50kgs in fact. I’m also very strong, and whilst I mostly walk nicely on the lead, I do sometimes react to strangers so I would benefit from having a strong owner. Going out for new adventures is my new favourite thing to do, lots of different smells and things to see keeps my energetic brain active. I am a clever boy and I'm keen to continue my training in my new home.

Rottweilers are known to be a loyal guarding breed, I certainly live up to this which can mean meeting new people particulary men a little tricky. The staff are working well with me but this training will need to continue once I am in my new home.  Being nervous about meeting new people means I will need an owner who has experience in dealing with large reactive/fearful dogs.

I don’t mind seeing other dogs out and about and could possibly live with another large older female dog depending on whether we would be a suitable match. Cats on the other hand I do like to chase, so a cat free home is a must.

I am a huge cuddle monster but I have been known to be a little unpredictable at times so this will mean I will be seeking an adult only home.

At heart I’m a big puppy who loves playing fetch, exploring new places and getting a lot of fuss especially from the ladies.

Such a charmer with so much character. Despite his quirks Bruno really is a firm favourite among staff.

Do you have space in your home and your heart for a big, bouncy boy like me?
