Hi there, my name is Mia and I am a 3 year old Rottweiler.
I arrived here a few weeks ago after my owner was unable to look after me. I do have some trust issues and prefer women on the whole, men just take a little bit more time to get used to.
People say I am a gentle giant, cuddles upon the sofa is normally where you will find me and a staff member.
Being a Rottweiler I am a fairly large girl and would need a strong owner when out on walks. Meeting different dogs here at the centre has been great fun although I can be a little picky at times. Being a lady, I much prefer the calm quiet introduction, I can get a little worried when another dog approaches me in a rude fashion. My new owner will need to continue to build my confidence around people and other dogs. Staff feel I could live with a calm male dog.
Having never lived around children I would prefer an adult home only as my play times can be quite full on and rough, all very friendly of course!
Have you got that special home for me?
