About me

Hi my name is Cookie and I am a beautiful 3 year old girl. I was found wandering the streets alone and was saved by the dog warden. Sadly, nobody came looking for me so I was brought to the centre to find a new home!

I am a sweet, sensitive girl, and although I can find new things scary, I am very friendly and love to have cuddles and give you kisses! I am a bit of a “loopy lurcher” and love to run and play with my toys.

I am still learning so I will need an experienced owner who doesn’t work and is home all day to continue my training. I love my treats and toys so I respond well to reward-based training. It will take me a long time to settle in to my new home so my new owner will need to be gentle, patient and understanding. I need somebody who will take the time to show me the world isn’t such a scary place and will help build my confidence.

I am looking for a quiet home in a quiet area with adults or families with children age 12 and over. I could possibly live with a male dog of a similar size to me if we got on well after a few meets but I cannot live with cats.
