About me

Please meet Teddy,

Teddy is a 6-year-old cocker spaniel looking for his forever home.

Teddy is an excitable boy who can be very loving. Most of the time he loves being around people and has made many friends whilst here at HULA amongst our staff and volunteers.

Teddy loves to go out on walks and loves to splash around in water. Teddy can tire easily due to him being overweight. Teddy has lost some weight since being in our care but his new owner will need to continue this weight loss journey with him, and get him back to a healthy weight.

Teddy becomes very excited when he sees other dogs out and about, he always wants to play! He has lived with another dog in his previous home so he could potentially live with another dog in his new home as long as they met here at HULA first and got on well.

Teddy came into our care as he wasn't too happy around the previous owners grandchildren. Teddy would like to find an adult only home.

We have seen Teddy show some negative behaviour when meeting new people and can, on occasion, seem a little wary of them, so his new adopters will need to be prepared to manage this behaviour (more information will be provided).

Teddy has shown a few signs of guarding behaviour since being in our care, he can be protective of treats and toys, he would like to find an owner with experience with dog who resource guard, who will be able to help him overcome this.

If you would like to know more about Teddy please contact reception.
